Y/N didn't live the best of lives. At the young age of eight he came home to discover his parents murdered. It was later discovered that ghouls were responsible. Not having a whole lot of family he moved in with his aunt who'd neglect and abuse him. His whole childhood he grew up alone until high school came along and he met a friend by the name of John. By the time he retired he decided on moving to Tokyo where he quickly picked up Japanese. With the money he got from the military he bought a small bookstore that had an apartment just above it. The area of Tokyo be lived in had very few if any ghoul attacks. His view on them changed over time as he'd be rescued by one on his way back from a store. Eventually he'd begin to not only sympathize them but understand them. One day Y/N decided to head to a local coffee shop where he laid eyes on what he thought was the most beautiful woman ever. That's when they started to date from there. Though, once they start dating, very interesting things happen. She meets and learns new things about people and is shocked to hear about Kaneki's secret about him being half ghoul. But that doesn't stop her from dating him. They both love each other very much and always cuddled with every chance they gotten. Something happens and (y/n) is clueless. She has no idea where Kaneki was for ten days and it gotten her worried.
