I figured it was about time people knew about my life, and knew why I acted the way that I did. And as I am about to get my Masters I feel like I should sit down a write a little bit about how I've gotten to the point that I find myself in right now.
I've had a lot of good memories growing up in a community, having the biggest possible family, and having different mothers and fathers instead of just two. I've learned so much in my experiences, fought so hard to be the person I thought I wanted to be, only to find out I'm someone completely different.
Sometimes it's just easier to write down your past so that you can work on your future. Also, it's a good way to let go, to move on from heartbreaks, to hold faith for what's to come and to know who you truly want to be.
So, hi, my name is Tracey and I was raised in an orphanage.

The Best Kept Secret!
They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. The only thing that kept me sane was my good grades throughout school. I got the satisfaction of doing the one thing that people kept telling me over and over I couldn't do. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one. The first choice I made was to go live off-campus with my grandmother during my first semester in college. I ask myself how could I be so stupid? But you will see just how stupid I was. All my life iv been alone. I grew up in an orphanage where my mom dropped me off at 6months and never looked back. She gave them all my documents and told them every month she going to deposit money for my up keep and she did. Every month the nuns at my orphanages will dance like craZy when the money goes through cause that means that our doors will be open for one more month. When I was 5 the orphanage changed it name to Zibusiso Care. My name and we started receiving funding like crazy allowing our kids to go to the best schools in SA that also giving me an opportunity to grow. When I was 18 I had to leave to study and I did go and did communication and bagging a degree. Than on my graduation day which is today, i received a letter of appointment to come for an interview as a project manager to one of the biggest and world known company and am in nerves. Bare in mind iv never applied there. That the story of my life, things just happen for me. Just like how I got a letter of this apartment am staying at, just like how its got furniture to all the things that I love and adore and just like how BMW called for me to fetch my car and I got there its a blue M series just like how my phone rings now and than and I get what I need at that specific time. The Fight I kept within Me
Tell me, Lord, why me? Dealing with this pain and misery. The weight of the world on my shoulders is killing me, trying to provide for me and my family. The devil is content and focused on stopping me guess it is like back in the day where we all sin. I am focusing on a higher power just changing what's within but it's hard. Mother Knows Best
You know how you trauma-dump on your friends and they say, "Omg, that's insane, you should write a book about it!" Well, more people have made that remark to my mother as she exaggerates all her stories, so I took the liberty of taking that advice for myself. I am a writer, after all, and I tend to write out my feelings and trauma to work through it on my own, just to delete it later. But why not make some of those memories that haunt me so much into story form? It's definitely more entertaining. So, you'll find my entire life story, or at least what I remember, here in this book on Wattpad. Each chapter is a real event that occurred in my life, mostly involving my emotionally abusive mother, nearly absent and aggressive father, my runaway older sister, and even a little boy we fostered for a moment. If you're interested or possibly are going through something similar, please read and know that there is hope. I made it out and I am on my healing journey, it is possible.

"Would you not do that, Cupcake?" He moaned. "Cupcake, really? We escalated to pet names?" I said annoyed. "Well you haven't confirmed your name, so yeah." He responded getting up. "Fine if it means you'll stop calling me Cupcake, my name's Marie." I told him. "Good to know Cupcake." He smirked. I just rolled my eyes and turned back towards the classroom. You had been attending the same school for over 15 years, obviously because you were born in the small town in North Carolina. You were living a pretty normal life, till all of the abductions started happening in 1977. But lets go back a bit. Lets go back to the year 1976. You had been on a night shift on November 18th, 1976. There were many more people than your previous shift. Really the only people there were dropouts, druggies, drug dealers, freaks, and alcoholics. All around the ages 14-22. Everybody was pretty chill with eachother, except for a few people, but that was just the minority. You had been zoned out while staring at the clock, then suddenly heard a DING! Some kid wanted to buy some cigarettes again. You looked at him and he said "Jesus kid, you in a mental insitute or something? Snap out of it." you ringed him up after he asked you for a pack of camels, and then looked at a familiar guy playing pinball. The same blonde that got over 100,000 his last time he came. Everybody started hyping him up, so he's trying to beat 100,000. You remember the mess you had to clean up after some kid accidently knocked over a bunch of beer. You like to not think about how it ruined your favorite pair of shoes. He messed up again, and kicked the machine. You yelled out to him "That thing costs money you know." then he looked at you. His face almost looked angelic. But he had been the jerk of your highschool, so he couldn't be that angelic. He looked away and picked at his pockets. He pulled out nothing. He started walking up to you and started asking for a dime. "Come on, I feed you guys this money all the damn time. Plus you will just get it back." "Then maybe don't waste all your money on pinball. We've gained around $200 with you coming here almost everyday. Thanks for that." and then you smiled while picking up your book. He looked at you in anger, then you looked back up at him. He looked like he was in a bad mood. "Here's a dime." you said handing him a dime.Complete
