Survived (Levi X Reader)

Your eyes welled up with tears as you felt the titan's throat constrict around you, shoving you down it esophagus as you wretched a horrifying scream. "No! Stop please! Somebody help me please! I-I don't want to die!"

Your body tumbled downward, splashing into a rotten pool of stomach acid. Sputtering you cleared your lungs of the foul liquid. You trembled as you looked out over the bobbing body parts that surrounded you. Your comrades, your friends, all bitten to chunks. Your throat burned as you shrieked. The titans stomach seemed to slosh back and forth, suddenly throwing itself forward again. The wave pushed you beneath, barely able to resurface before getting pushed even deeper.

"Is... is this how I'm going to die?"

As a child you'd been so naive, jumping and hollering when you saw the Survey Corps. Such heroes left you awestruck. They got to see the whole world beyond the wall! In a way you were jealous. No one, not a single person, would stop your from joining them some day. A chance to see the world, to make a difference so all people could see it!

You scoffed, staring up at the remains of Wall Maria as you darted among the buildings. The people whom lived there were all cowards. They were either ignorant fools, more apt to complain about the soldiers than volunteer a second. The others were just cowards with swords. Surviving what you had might make you think you'd crawl back as soon as you could, to safety. But they left you behind. Didn't even try to save you. Just cowered and scrambled away. You'd rather living alone, risking every moment against being eaten, than ever get dragged into that fucking Survey Corps.

Just your luck that's exactly what would happen...
