A hopeful night turned tragic when a family's newborn baby was snatched away from them, presuming to be gone, lost.
Years later and Zia was on the run from her past. With nowhere else to go and no money she snuck her way onto a merchants boat and sailed away from her nightmarish home in the Fire Nation.
She ends up in Republic City, hoping to start over with a new life. With no money though her new life starts out pretty rough, having to live on the streets begging for money and stealing for food.
Things start to turn around though when she runs into a certain energetic earth bender.
The only question is, will things turn around for the good or the bad?

This is a Legend of Korra fanfic, I do not own any of the characters, except my own that I add in, aka. Zia, Bean and a few others as well.
