Bailey Grey is an intern at a clinic, studying to become a physical therapist. Although only in high school, she enjoys helping out at the clinic after school and during her free time.
However, when star quarterback Aiden Hurley tears his ACL over winter break, Bailey is assigned to work with him for three months until the start of the school football season.
Confused and uncertain of his football future, Aiden doubts Bailey's ability to help him. After all, she's only a high school student, right? What can she do?

"Okay, now squat-go slowly."
"What?" Aiden asks, bewildered.
"Not what, squat," I state, rolling my eyes.
"I think you just want to see my butt."
My eyes widen and my face warms. "W-what? No! Just-just squat!" I order, looking anywhere but him and his (admittedly nice) cake.
"I mean, why else would I be doing this if we've already done so much this session?"
"Because it's part of the recovery plan?!"
"Sure."
"How the hell am I supposed to deal with this?" I mumble to myself.
"Fuck, I don't know," came Aiden's reply.
I scrunch my nose, "You weren't supposed to hear that."
"Hmm, just like how I wasn't supposed to hear how you have a crush on me?"
Meanwhile, I'm in the corner, choking on air. "W-what?"
"Your supposed 'best friend' told me."
"Grace Veronica Evans," I mumble, "I'll murder that little bas-"
"Hey. You know, maybe I can make it up to you by taking you on a date?" he asks with a smirk.
"Keep your mouth closed and squat!"

I chuckled slightly and shook my head. "Does that usually work for you? The cute little remarks and that nice smile." I teased.
He gave me a sheepish look of surprise. "Most girls would be flattered at my attempt to flirt with them."
I scoffed and shook my head. "Well, as a member of the "most girls" community, I can say that I am not."
"Wow. That's a bit harsh." He gave me a smug look and crossed his arms.
"Sorry," I shrugged. "I'm immune to boy charms. In fact, I think I'm allergic."
"Well, don't think so highly of yourself. Just because you have cute dimples and a pretty face, doesn't mean I find you attractive."

Maya Cameron is a senior at Ohio State University and this is the year where you need to get your life together before you get pushed out into the real world. Writing is the only thing that keeps her sane after all of the trauma she's been though.
With her mom and dad's unfortunate death, she's been left under the care of her evil step-aunt and forced to stay with her annoying step-cousin. As if college isn't stressful enough.
And then there's this other guy in her life. They met online by accident and have been talking for months but she's not brave enough to make it something real.
Will Ashby is the all-around superstar on campus. He's practically royalty because he's the running back on the Ohio State Football team: one of the best college football teams in America. Will is the person guys want to be and guy girls want to be with. But in actuality, he'd rather blend in with the background noise. His only focus has been football and finishing his degree. That was until he met this girl. He doesn't even know her name or what she looks like, but she's the girl he'd want to be real with.
Because of circumstances, Will needs an English tutor or he won't be able to play. And much to her dismay, Maya is the perfect person for the job.
