A long time ago, dragons and human roamed the Earth as one. Every day, you would see a dragon rider, dragons many different colors. Green, blue, brown, bronze, or gold. But there were a few black dragons, rare, even back then...
But now, only 4 dragons remain, 3 still in their egg. Will they hatch in time to destroy the evil King who now rules? Or will they let time pass and let chaos take control of the world?

Each dragon can only have one of these elements. You hatched with two elements, And a red symbol just behind your eye, But we have only just begun... This book is epic. Of course, you still have to read the first book to understand what's going on. Basically, the war is over. Life seems good again, right? WRONG. You bet some bad stuff is going to happen. Our two main characters must travel to other kingdoms in search of - oop, sorry no spoilers! Dragon Blood
"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. "It was the first thought she ever shared with me." Skylar pursed her lips. "She likes you very much." "What about you?" he teased gently. "How do you feel about me?" She set her jaw and once again managed to look down her nose at him while staring up at him. "Well... well, I'm rather fond of you, Orion." He let out a relieved laugh and pulled her into his chest again. "What a relief. I was worried it was just me." He nuzzled her temple, inhaling deeply, his dragon fully at peace. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. As a princess and heir to the kingdom, her future was daunting enough. The fact that she turned into dragon and would be killed if anyone found out made it all the worse. So, Skylar lived in constant conflict with the beast within her, all while training to be queen one day. When a fellow king discovers her secret, she is forced to flee or put her entire family in danger. When she meets Orion, the Alpha of a dragon clan, he helps open up a whole new world to her. In this new world, Skylar discovers who she is supposed to be and what she's been hiding from. She finds the beauty of her beast and a love she only ever dreamed of. But then her new world is threatened. It becomes a matter of kill or be killed, so Skylar's new family, with the help of her old, must rise to the challenge to defeat this threat. The day started off like any other. Things went the way they'd normally go in the human world. Until the day came when 3 mysterious men showed themselves to 3 young women, once believed innocent, claimed to be sworn to their side as advisors, and deemed them royalty. Bestowing upon them the royal crowns to their homelands. Now queens, the 3 girls must uphold their royal status, carrying all the baggage that comes with it. They learn their tools and play their parts fairly well, until the day comes when a bold winged monster with scales like snow, claws like swords, eyes that gleam death, and a maw that sprays dragon fire; threatens the very balance of the vast new world they've come to know. "I see three stars hurdling towards the earth. They gleam like diamonds and fall like gravel, But what is this? One of them appears to be filled with doom....I wonder who it will be?"Complete

I was expecting to hang with my Uncle for a week with his opal mining operation. Being sent to another world where lost Mayans, Egyptians, and Native Americans needed my help keeping their dragons from taking over Earth was not on my list ... Land Of The Dragon Riders
"Long ago, when the world believed dragons were only myth. The world was ruled by humans, in that world it was human kill everything. All that changed when the sky opened and out came creatures that would burn the world to ash. Millions of lives lost in a matter of one year, the human army tried to kill them but no missile could breach the armored skin on the dragons body. Soon the whole human race would be gone, but that didn't happen. Everything changed when a man appeared. He was just a man they all thought until they witnessed him controlling and even riding a dragon with scales as black as the night sky. Once he came, the killings and number of wild dragons dropped, he had tamed them all. He came to be called Kahlo in our language or to the humans, he was the Dragon King. With Kahlo riding a dragon, he showed only the loyal ones how to do the same. That is how the Riders were born." The man stopped talking as he looked at the two faces of his children. "I think it be for bed soon my children." "Oh come now father, please finish the story," a little boy with white hair begged. "Yes father please," a young girl with black hair begged as well. "Alright, but it be bed right after or your mother would have my head." They both giggled and waited for their father to continue the story. "Peace flowed over the world, he put in place, his own form of rule. Each country would be ruled by a single Rider and their clans. Each of the world had dragons and their riders ruling the country. That is how peace remained in this world but something came to destroy our peace." The children gasped making the father smile. "Now to bed you two go." "Ah but father." They both whined but he covered them with the blanket. "No buts, to bed. I'll see you both in the morning." He kissed their heads making them smile. "Goodnight father."
