A long time ago, dragons and human roamed the Earth as one. Every day, you would see a dragon rider, dragons many different colors. Green, blue, brown, bronze, or gold. But there were a few black dragons, rare, even back then...
But now, only 4 dragons remain, 3 still in their egg. Will they hatch in time to destroy the evil King who now rules? Or will they let time pass and let chaos take control of the world?

"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. "It was the first thought she ever shared with me." Skylar pursed her lips. "She likes you very much." "What about you?" he teased gently. "How do you feel about me?" She set her jaw and once again managed to look down her nose at him while staring up at him. "Well... well, I'm rather fond of you, Orion." He let out a relieved laugh and pulled her into his chest again. "What a relief. I was worried it was just me." He nuzzled her temple, inhaling deeply, his dragon fully at peace. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. As a princess and heir to the kingdom, her future was daunting enough. The fact that she turned into dragon and would be killed if anyone found out made it all the worse. So, Skylar lived in constant conflict with the beast within her, all while training to be queen one day. When a fellow king discovers her secret, she is forced to flee or put her entire family in danger. When she meets Orion, the Alpha of a dragon clan, he helps open up a whole new world to her. In this new world, Skylar discovers who she is supposed to be and what she's been hiding from. She finds the beauty of her beast and a love she only ever dreamed of. But then her new world is threatened. It becomes a matter of kill or be killed, so Skylar's new family, with the help of her old, must rise to the challenge to defeat this threat. Luminous (Dragon) (mostly unedited)
An old, unedited story I wrote years ago. Copy-pasted from my IPad. A story about a young dragon named Luminous, and her journeys around a fantastical world that really isn't as alive as it was described to be. So: there are many spelling mistakes, lots of sections of text that make no sense, random things being said, and... Yea. This is a story I thought of when I was a little kid, to keep me entertained at night when I couldn't sleep. No, I couldn't spell back then. It was written in parts, in old sketch books. Then typed. Here's the prologue or whatever the actual heck this thing is: Once, in a land so long ago there was a world filled with all types of creatures. Big cats, wolves, birds, fish, dinosaurs, and, most of all... Dragons. In this realm, there were two types of dragons: Black dragons, evil, mysterious creatures, and White dragons, elegant, beautiful beasts. Not all of these dragons were black and white though, infact, there was only ever one white dragon and one black dragon ever hatched. They were.. Well, use to be... Sisters. These dragons can be in all manner of shapes and sizes, colours and patterns, and not all dragons breathed deadly flames. Some had the breath of water, ice, snow, air, wind, and all colours of fire. But, no matter what type of dragon it is, how strong or weak it may be, they all had magic in them. You can tell whether a dragon is a black dragon or white dragon simply by looking into its eyes. Eyes... They show a creatures soul and heart. This is the story of me. My name is luminous, and Im a very special lady dragon. I became the leader of all dragons, and this... This is my story. ... The Overworld Dragons
"We need to find a way to put an end to the Ender Dragon's tyranny, but how?" This question has been asked for over a millennium, and there hasn't been an answer yet, until now. When coming back from exploring, Krystal stumbles upon a Wandering Trader and purchases a suspicious-looking egg. The egg was as big and as heavy as a wolf pup and had a blue gradient. When it hatched, it was a dragon, but not just any dragon: the Ocean Dragon, one of the 5 Overworld Dragons. The Overworld Dragons are the children of the Ender Dragon, born to take her down and end her tyranny. However, the Ender Dragon knew this and sent them to the Overworld so that would never happen. The dragons have come and gone since the Pliocene epoch when Wooly Mammoths roamed with humans during the ice age. For many of the I and E generation in the Americas and parts of Europe, it was something to avoid being taken by them to their world. But many knew the stories they told, the things they saw and missed, and in this world of social media, the child coming home, reborn as a shifter. For 16-year-old Nathan that was his reality. For 11 years he's not only avoided getting grabbed but helped others avoid a similar fate. But a black dragon was watching him grabbing him only to lay low in the nearby woods, something they did to pick out who'd they take. It did that for 10 years, more than 3 times longer than usual. His actions and the amount of time he had avoided them made him a sort of celebrity in his town in the midwest. But one day that black dragon made its decision, he was to be her hatchling. When they're usually marked the child could turn to protective mode, running from home to prevent drawing attention to other children for the picking, and that's what he did, right to where they last landed. Luck, choice, a possible spell in those claws, whatever you may think doesn't matter. A black dragon never misses its mark. With agility unsurpassed by the other types they're almost impossible to avoid. But these dragons didn't breathe fire, were a threat, nor in any way the size of a 747 max. All they had that was unique from other creatures was a highly evolved brain with the intelligence of a human and a heart of platinum. Note. Some creatures don't belong to me in any way.
