Strangers Alex and Cody meet on an online platform designed to "tether" two random people in order to let them communicate with one another. Alex, an independent and hardworking young Filipino college boy, meets Cody, a well-thought and adventurous American programmer. The two start off by being acquainted to one another, creating a comfortable environment. Their relationship was something that they didn't know would last nor did they intend for it to last in the first place.

At first they just send short messages and do some awkward small talk before ultimately growing fully comfortable with each other - almost like good friends. Weeks pass and the pair continue on to develop their unexpected long distance relationship; from strangers to friends, and from friends to something more. However, things continue to escalate; the emotions, the underlying pressure of their personal lives, an introduction of a couple of strangers - things that neither Cody nor Alex expected and wanted to encounter in the first place.
