It is a world that the rules of humanity are more like guidelines between the different Kingdoms, meaning outside of those walls anything goes. The Stirling Kingdom is one of the most powerful entities within the realm and they have no intention of that changing. Some members of the Kingdom are willing to go to extreme lengths while others are left in the dark. By hunting down and eating an extremely rare group of people, Emotionals, they are able to play a guessing games with the powers that are obtained. However, no one was prepared for the complicated relationships that developed the moment Nova Rose set food in the Stirling Kingdom. A series of intense secretes and steamy moments would arise along with the socially awkward and feisty woman.

Something caught my eye and when I looked up in the mirror I saw Rykan stepping inside, shutting the door and sliding the lock in place. My heart hammered in my chest as he approached me. He came right up behind me, setting his hands on my hips, never breaking our gaze through the mirror. "Kora," he murmured, stepping closer until my back brushed against his chest.
