((POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNING: mentions overdosing, strong detailed violence, occasional elements of gore and angst, please read at one's own discretion)) EDIT: TWs still apply. i haven't touched this pile of shit since last year so i'm revisiting it so i actually have motivation to write. so yeah. 2nd EDIT: i lied to you this book is bullshit disregard! Aisling had always been a quiet girl. Her only friend was her ailing mother. She knew that from a young age, she wasn't human. Not fully. There's something unearthly in those eyes of hers, but what she doesn't know is the secrets her mother hides, even in death. When her mother passes unexpectedly, Vanity is forced out of her normal, routine life. And as a girl who cannot handle change, she is left to her own devices, and an inexplicable note to go off of. Along the way she meets a lot of... interesting people. One of which is her other parent, who she thought to have ran away before she was born. It takes a lot to adapt to her new life, and her new family, and she isn't sure she can manage.
