He really didn't want to do this. Out of all the things is mother could have forced on him, she chose this? Why? Lance would have done anything, and I mean anything, if he didn't have to go away. If he didn't have to leave his home. But there was no going back on this, he had to go to America now- despite his protests he had to.

Lance. A seventeen year old Cuban boy with a dark, and solemn past- who also happens to be a big brother to five younger siblings. Ever since it happened, ever since two years ago he hasn't been able to be the normal, outgoing, fun, flirty boy he usually was. Eventually his mother grew tired of it, she was desperate- and wanted him to come out of his shell again...so she signs him up for the foreign exchange student program.

That's where he meet Keith Kogane, he has to stay with Keith and his family for the rest of the school year...

So that'll be just great!

Excerpt Below

Keith pivoted on his heel, shutting the door as he did so. "Uhm...make yourself at home- seeing as though it kind of will be for the next school year. I honestly don't care what you do, just don't go through those two drawers over there- and don't leave dirty clothes on the floor." Keith said dully.

Lance nodded, his eyes immediately going over to the white T-shirt scattered on the carpet below. "No dirty clothes?" He mused with a joking smirk, pointing towards Keith's shirt.

The raven-haired boy laughed, quickly going over to pick up his shirt and placing it in the hamper.

"No dirty clothes."

I rounded the corner to the hall, only to smack into something. "I'm so sorry," I apologized, reaching down to pick up a book that had fallen. My heart skipped a beat as I looked up, making eye contact with a pair of hazel eyes. "No worries," the boy replied, his voice rich and smooth, "Are you alright?" I nodded quickly, flashing a smile. I was too stunned to respond. Standing in front of me was none other than Prince Everest Dresden Macallister. "Who are you?" he asked, tilting his head curiously. "I'm Aspen," I replied, trying hard not to look away from his curious stare. "Dresden," he said, holding out his hand. I assumed he was going to shake mine, but instead he brought it to his lips, pressing a kiss against it. My breath caught in my throat, my cheeks burning. "Nice to meet you," I managed to say without stuttering. "My apologies, but I have to hurry. Miss Elizabeth has asked me to retrieve something." He nodded, stepping aside as I hurried into the room. I stood there, taking a deep breath to calm myself. Once I was done, I spotted the prince sitting by the window, the book that I'd picked up in his hand. I ducked my head and made a beeline to the door. "Aspen," he called, making me freeze. "Yes?" "Will you be attending the Charity Gala?" ------------------- Aspen's only purpose living in London was to finish her semester abroad. Or so she thought. She finds herself caught in the middle of The Royal Family and their dark past as she scrambles to sort out the course of her future. Never in a million years did she think she would find herself best friends with Prince Everest Dresden Macallister, the next heir to the British Throne. But it's not long before things start going south. Crush or no crush, Aspen doesn't have much time to prove her friendship to the future King. The clock is ticking. And time doesn't slow for anyone, Royal or not.

"You're an asshole," I blurted. "You're such an asshole that your actual asshole is jealous." Silence. What the hell did I just say? Out of all the insults, I choose one that makes the least sense? Damn it, why couldn't I just have been born normal... Wait, never mind. Psh, screw sanity. "Can we keep her?" Tyler suddenly says, bouncing on his tippy toes. "Please, Keith? Can we keep her? Huh, huh, huh?" What am I, a pet? "Keith" whipped his head towards Tyler so fast I could've sworn I heard a crack. "Keep her?" he echoed. "No, Tyler, we can not keep her." Thank you. "She's utterly useless to us, and you want to keep her?" I gasped, placing a hand over my chest. Useless? Damn, these people are rude as hell. "But," Tyler whined, walking over to me. I tensed all over when he squished my cheeks together. "Look at how adorable she is. She's just so innocent... you'd never suspect anything bad from her." Keith expression changed, to one I knew very well from my experiences with Val. Lightbulb. "Tyler, you are a genius," Keith says. Tyler's hands stop squishing my cheeks. "I am?" "He is?!" everyone else says. Keith doesn't reply, just keeps on grinning wickedly. And suddenly I have a feeling that I am not gonna make it out of here alive. - WARNING: VERY CRINGE WORTHY MATERIAL NOW AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE http://www.lulu.com/shop/angel-zenith/the-gangleader-kidnapped-me/paperback/product-23087208.html Highest Rank: #1 in Humor April 19, 2015 CoAuthor: DreamCreature
