Waylon Park was an engineer and programmer at Hell on Earth, also known as Mount Massive Psychiatric Institution. After a bold move, Waylon was admitted as a patient and a new test subject for a cruel and insidious experiment. He managed to escape, but in the meantime collected information and recorded the hideous experiments and patients, and also released the Walrider. After uploading the recordings, Waylon and everyone he holds dear to his heart are tormented by demons in more ways than one...

The Aftermath at Mount Massive
-Cross-post from my Ao3- The Aftermath at Mount Massive is part one of a three part series called Survivors. This part is done. It is a fanfic for the game Outlast, set after the first game/DLC. However, you don't have to know much about the game to jump in. This story follows an independent journalist named Miles Upshur who received an email from a whistleblower, Waylon Park, who worked at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems: Mount Massive. The hospital was supposed to be run as a charity, offering help to those who could not pay, or for those who other hospitals wouldn't accept. However, things weren't as they seemed and Murkoff was using the hospital as a cover for a laboratory where they were performing experiments on humans. The end result of such experiments was the creation of Project Walrider, a bio-nanite parasite that lives inside a human body. Miles stumbles into the facility during a security breach and riot. He manages to survive the night but in doing so becomes infected with the nanites, becoming the new host for Project Walrider. The Aftermath of Mount Massive is about Miles coming to terms with what being the Host means for both his humanity and future. Content Warning: This fic contains blood, gore, cannibalism, a suicide attempt, mild body horror, and language. If you are sensitive to any of those things I suggest not reading. While sending this, his boss- Jeremy Blaire, finds out and has him put in the Morphogenic Engine with two other inmates, something goes wrong and Waylon is now trapped in the asylum with only his camcorder and what's left of his sanity. The Doctor
Captured by two thugs, Albina Ratownik is held captive in an underground "hospital"that's buried twenty feet deep. She is in Dr. Smok's grip and is forced to undergo a painful psychological experiment. She is not the only victim here, there are many other "patients" that work as slaves, get their organs sold illegally, and are beaten in this so-called "hospital". The underground hospital is guarded by black-armored guards and is near impossible to escape. Not only does Dr. Smok torture his patients and watch them suffer but he takes pleasure in doing it. According to Dr. Smok, Albina is special. She has a life that is similar to Smok's past which is why she was chosen for the psychological experiment. This experiment leave her alive with a mental scar or dead in the doctor's arms. Although escape is a death wish, Albina does find a chance of escape. With the help of two twins she will help free every single patient in this hospital.
