Waylon Park was an engineer and programmer at Hell on Earth, also known as Mount Massive Psychiatric Institution. After a bold move, Waylon was admitted as a patient and a new test subject for a cruel and insidious experiment. He managed to escape, but in the meantime collected information and recorded the hideous experiments and patients, and also released the Walrider. After uploading the recordings, Waylon and everyone he holds dear to his heart are tormented by demons in more ways than one... (This contains spoilers for Outlast and Outlast: Whistelblower)

Waylon park- a 32 year old man working for Murkoff emails several reporters- one being Miles Upshur, about the asylum- Mount Massit Asylum. While sending this, his boss- Jeremy Blaire, finds out and has him put in the Morphogenic Engine with two other inmates, something goes wrong and Waylon is now trapped in the asylum with only his camcorder and what's left of his sanity. Waylon's only choices are run, hide, or die.
