Waylon Park was an engineer and programmer at Hell on Earth, also known as Mount Massive Psychiatric Institution. After a bold move, Waylon was admitted as a patient and a new test subject for a cruel and insidious experiment. He managed to escape, but in the meantime collected information and recorded the hideous experiments and patients, and also released the Walrider. After uploading the recordings, Waylon and everyone he holds dear to his heart are tormented by demons in more ways than one...

The Coder
After Waylon was caught and put through the Morphogenic Engine the doctors had put him through multiple different test that crippled his sanity. They had completely erased all memory of his family and past life of 5 years, leaving only small bits of memories. Throughout these test, they had tried to infuse electricity into his very being. This had resulted in Waylon being able to store and use this electricity whenever. Being completely insane and have this kind of power led to him being called the Coder by the patients after the Walrider outbreak. He roams the halls searching for the perfect "Human Hard Drive" to store the memories that he hasn't lost. But what happens when this "Human Hard Drive" turns out to be Eddie Gluskin, The very man that Waylon had tried to help save from the engine in the begin.Complete

On the run, Waylon Park manages the best he can while hiding in foreign locations, and dodging Murkoff agents around every corner. He's been separated from his family and dealing with considerable mental health issues. He thought he was the only survivor of the Mount Massive Asylum riot, until a shadowy man showed up with an ax to grind. A Whistleblower and his Accomplice
Waylon Park, and his colleague Travis Stewart, both work together to gather enough evidence to expose Murkoff Corporations. But as soon as the email goes through, things go sideways and they're thrown into Mount Massive Asylum, giving them a new objective. Escape the Asylum. I also want to point out that the SA themes within this are non-romanticized.
The Aftermath at Mount Massive
-Cross-post from my Ao3- The Aftermath at Mount Massive is part one of a three part series called Survivors. This part is done. It is a fanfic for the game Outlast, set after the first game/DLC. However, you don't have to know much about the game to jump in. This story follows an independent journalist named Miles Upshur who received an email from a whistleblower, Waylon Park, who worked at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems: Mount Massive. The hospital was supposed to be run as a charity, offering help to those who could not pay, or for those who other hospitals wouldn't accept. However, things weren't as they seemed and Murkoff was using the hospital as a cover for a laboratory where they were performing experiments on humans. The end result of such experiments was the creation of Project Walrider, a bio-nanite parasite that lives inside a human body. Miles stumbles into the facility during a security breach and riot. He manages to survive the night but in doing so becomes infected with the nanites, becoming the new host for Project Walrider. The Aftermath of Mount Massive is about Miles coming to terms with what being the Host means for both his humanity and future.
