A human space agent was a rarity, almost unheard of. Her first day on the job was a disaster. First, her shoe heel broke, then her new captain announced that he would partner her with her boss, who had the audacity to call her weak to her face. Hell, he even gave her a nickname. It was only fair she gave him one herself.

Despite the rough start, a case where a madman was killing females became the most important thing. They had to work together to catch the killer before he strikes again. It appears the killer has a special taste for Katorian females. An alien that has pink skin.

They are on a wild chase when the last victim turns up with missing appendages. From nightclubs, the black market to some of the richest people in Quartez. Could there be another killer? The two races against time to bring down the killer in Quartez.
