Two lions were born from a different father than the rest of the pride's cubs. Their father, of course, got beaten by a male named Taka who took over the pride from there. He slaughtered all of the cubs and the ones he would slaughter That were to come. But the lionesses protected Kah-le, the hunt chief, and didn't allowed him to kill the cubs. He fortunately let the lion cubs stay but manipulated the pride to think they were a mistake leading another lioness to be a hunt chief.

As the two lions got older they realized something was wrong and tried to step up only to be punished resulting in the death of their mother.

With no chance in their pride they set out to find a new hope, a challenger that is worthy and mighty enough to take on the intimidating Taka.
