The Boy in the Gray Hoodie
I was never meant to leave that room. I had spent my whole life in there, imagining what it was like on the outside. I looked forward to the day when I would finally be allowed to leave. But that day was never supposed to come. Until James decided to keep his promise. He had always been there, on the other side of the glass. Waiting. The experiment wasn't over. He was still waiting for me to change. But I didn't change. Not until that night. It was dark, and there was rain. The sound of the car engine was loud, but the crash was louder. In the crash, I became something different. I changed. But not for James. This new part of me emerged for one reason; to save her. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. The Five: The Beginning
Newly 21 year old Ayden Slider discovers during his birthday party that weird things are happening to him all at once. Slowly, these powers start manifest. First, is simply mind reading. With practice can grow to be very useful. Second, super speed. Able to get across the map within minutes. Third, telekinesis developed and he's able to move objects with his mind. Fourth, time manipulation occurs. This stage of powers involves more then trait. Fifth, final power is self regeneration. Able to grow back skin cells and basically be invincible. But not quite. After discovering his mind reading ability Ayden reveals to best friends Cyrus Jones and Amber Monroe what happen to him the night of his birthday. After he convinces them that it's the truth, here starts the long journey of finding his birth parents. During there adventure they come across other people with similar abilities but not quite like Aydens. They only posses one trait. Will he find out who he is?Complete
