Monsters were never sent underground, instead, life on the surface was as fair as it could be...if fairness meant living in different districts were humans were the most powerful specie. After years of war, the monsters and humans had come to an agreement, to take two tributes from each district, one human, one monster, no matter the gender. Each year two tributes would be chosen from each district, which used to be thirteen districts, became twelve after the war. Hope is gone but maybe...just maybe this year's game might be different.

This isn't a typical sans x reader(now papyrus x reader too). You banged your head in the chair in front of you making you pass out, and when you open your eyes you had found yourself be popped out, but you didn't know that at the time. Everything was running smoothly for the Star Sanses on this amazing day. Ink was drawing happily, Blue was running around chasing butterflies, and Dream was reading! Until we look a little... deeper. Dream was fine. But Ink was thinking about things much darker than his smile gave off. Blue, on the other hand, was thinking all happy thoughts! To an outsider. To anyone else, he would never have depression. To others, he was a cute little innocent boy. But only he knew the truth. Dream was the happiest out of the bunch. Not really surprised, are you? Let's check in on the 'villains' as you may call them. Dust and Cross were running from Killer, who was tightening his strings on his hoodie, NIghtmare was reading just like Dream, skimming over the page, Horror was playing with his ax, and Error was knitting. Who is depressed? Ha. You really are blind, dear, dear reader. Have you yet to notice that the strings were on Killers wrists, so they wouldn't show? Or the way Nightmare never turns a page in his book? Geno was running away from Reaper at that moment, who was laughing. Reaper was slightly sad because he had to reap some souls, but Geno was the one suffering. Fell was being beaten by his brother at that moment, and no one would save him... "You can't be saved without help." This involves Crossmare, Dustberry, Errink, Afterdeath, Kreme, and Scifell. No, I will not be using Horrorlust in this book because I just don't get the ship.
