Julien is a troubled soul and disturbed by his past. In short his life is bleak. After a humiliating day at work he finds an artifact on the bus. That night he meets a lonely stranger who will change his life forever.

I'm aware the boring title, simple cover art, and mediocre story description, but don't judge it to soon. So go ahead give it a read and see of you like.

One that includes a trip to the past and uncovers a lot of what led their relationship to this point, and possibly move it forward. ~ ~ ~ This is a story I wrote for a competition with the prompt. "Focus on one chapter of a much more complicated and longer story" so it's pretty short, but I really enjoyed trying a new writing style and it was actually quite good for my skills. I hope you all enjoy this story and love the characters. as much as I do.

River tells him to offload, release all the sadness and frustration he has into someone who knows nothing about him. But when he leaves, River can't stop thinking about him. It's not until Alex comes back a few months later to thank him for listening when he needed help the most. Alex has a lot to thank for his signs from the universe.
