I do not own danganronpa or any of its characters. This is a non-despair au where Nagito and Hajime meet each other at the water fountain. The start of the story takes place at the time where Nagito still refuses to go to Hope's Peak. The characters in this story will only be the ones from Dr3, Sdr2 and Dr1. The ships this will include are: Komahina Kuzusouda Satozumi Nanabuki Komagami (really only one-sided and unimportant) Komahina is the main ship though, so the others won't be as important. So, what happens now? Originally this was not going to be a ship fic, but somewhere along the line, it seems I just couldn't help myself. Kagehina it is. I'm trash at descriptions and I've never written fan fiction before. At the time of writing the first chapter, It's time for me to turn in my final projects so I decided I would write this instead. But Hinata had to move away once they were around eleven, leaving Komaeda and himself in a deep depression. Hajime accidentally forgets about the other, until they coincidentally meet at Hope's Peak. Hinata still doesn't quite remember the other, but, he feels as though the other is much too familiar, while Nagito remembers him clearly and tries to help Hajime remember. Without any parents or legal guardians to adopt him or such, he lives at a hospital near his school. There, he has a few friends. Although, each day, a butterfly tends to come and visit his hospital bedroom window, an odd occurrence, to put it in simplest terms. Alongside this, Hajime Hinata is what people would call a normal boy. His life usually was nothing to write home about, and he was at least able to realize that. He hardly had any friends, the count only being two, and he usually felt a longing. A longing for a more unique and special life, something that would contrast from the rest of it all. As if to grant his simple wish, a butterfly is usual to turn up by his own bedroom window every day, checking up on him like some worried mother.
