I'm running just running not looking back. I saw a huge beast like creature after I fell into this mysterious land and my first reaction was to run. I don't know where I am and I'm obviously lost. The last thing I remember was walking around my sister's funeral, walking into a room, and then all of a sudden falling into something and now I'm here. Where ever "here" is. When I turn to look back, I noticed the creature disappeared and when I look forward I crash into someone. When I nervously look up hoping it wasn't the creature, my eyes met with green familiar ones.

My name is Melody Elizabeth and I am a simple 18 year old girl from New York. I just got accepted into Yale. I've been waiting for this moment forever. I have caring parents always sharing with others especially in need. I also have a 15 year old brother, Joel, and 17 year old sister, Amber. It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body. I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me. "Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began. "Ask me 'why am I here' and all of that crap... Entertain me with your fear." I saw him slowly gripping a knife that was on the countertop, with his eyes still on mine. The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes. I looked at him in horror, noticing him as he took his first steps towards me. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. Before you read any of this, please know that I hate how I wrote this book and there's are major plot holes. I want to rewrite it but I can't find any motivation. I wouldn't suggest reading if you can't stand a couple confusing parts.
