Everyone grows up learning about soulmates. Starting in Preschool, they learn the basics: Whenever anyone is born, the get a tattoo that matches with their soulmate. The exact same one, in the exact same spot, with all of the exact same details. As time progresses, they learn more about how they can also lose their soulmate. If they damage their relationship, then they will only have half of a tattoo left. Until they fix it, it will stay that way. And depending on how damaging it is to the relationship, you could easily say goodbye to your soulmate and could be given a different tattoo. After (Y/N) (L/N) graduates high school and gets a job, she starts to wonder when she will meet her soulmate. But what happens when she accidentally bumps into him in the streets, and later finds out who he is? Will she work to get back to him, or accept that maybe there isn't any hope for her? And if she does get to them, how good will their relationship be?

Everybody has a tattoo; they could be absolutely anywhere on your body. The tattoo begins appearing on the person's sixteenth birthday. Nobody has the same tattoo as they reflected the person's personality. They could be similar, but they are never duplicated. Depending on the person's soulmates mood, the colour of the tattoo changes. When they're mad, it turns a mix of deep red and orange, when they are embarrassed it changes to a bright yellow, when they are upset it turns blue, when they are feeling lonely it turns purple and so on. The only time the tattoo will light up and turn white is when the person and their soulmate are in a thirty foot radius and when you lock eyes with your soulmate, it begins to heat up.
