In a world populated by anthropomorphic mammals, rabbit Izuku Midoriya, from rural Musutafu, fulfills his childhood dream of becoming a police officer in urban Zootopia. However, he quickly finds that despite his hard work he is still looked down on for being a rabbit. Through a couple of chance meetings and sheer luck he now has a chance to prove himself to his superiors and fellow officers by solving a missing animal case. This task proves more difficult than he anticipated and he seeks the help of a popsicle hustling fox by the name Shoto Todoroki. Now they're on a downward spiral together to get to the bottom of some of Zootopia's most elaborate criminals scheme...
