Hoshiko Kibutsuji. The first female demon [of a different orgin], and the younger sister to Muzan Kibutsuji. She loves her brother and was the one who had attacked that man who wore the hanafuda earrings. However, this decision of hers to protect her brother had left her severely injured, and had caused Muzan to grow even more protective of her. It took her quite a while to fully heal. As the years progressed, the two sibling's personalities changed. Muzan became cold-hearted, ruthless, and exceptionally intelligent. Hoshiko became cold, manipulative, and exceptionally intelligent. The majority of their personalities were the same as the other, the three listed ones only the most prominent.
Muzan asked Hoshiko to hide the fact that they were siblings, and she had agreed, knowing that if demon-slayers found out that Muzan has a younger sister, they would hunt her down and use her to make Muzan reveal himself to them. But somehow, even with how careful they were to not let news of her existence spread, people somehow knew that she existed as well, but not how she looked like. And so, she left to China for a couple of centuries, taking the name Wēn[ 温- lukewarm] Xifeng [(晓凤) meaning western phoenix], only returning when her brother told her about finding that man's descendants and about how the news of her existence had dwindled down to mere rumors only.
When she arrives back in Japan, reusing her original name, and meets her brother and his human family in Asakusa, Tokyo, both siblings are confronted by Tanjirou Kamado.
How far will Hoshiko go to protect her elder brother?
