During the events of Kirby Star Allies, Taranza finds himself looking back at the times he spent with Sectonia, digging up old feelings of regret and guilt he had tried to overcome. Will he be able to move forward with the help of Susie and Magolor or is the despair too grand to fight? 

~This is a Kirby related story, but you don't really need to know the games to understand it. Based on the lore for Taranza and Sectonia before Kirby Triple Deluxe, I basically just filled in the blanks and wrote the story as what I imagine happened in between. This is not cannon, I just felt like putting it into a words and writing it down. This is also the first time I ever write any story. That and English isn't my native language either, so please be forgiving if it isn't a masterpiece.

This book is an opposite au, meaning that the character's personalities will be the opposite of their canon ver. For example, Sunny in this book is eccentric and outgoing while in the game he's quiet and keeps to himself. Just adding this because a lot of people are confused about why the characters are awful to each other and "OOC" lol. (I don't blame them) I'm writing this for 𝗳𝘂𝗻 and ideas are taken from my roleplays with my friends. This specific AU and storyline are 100% mine. I worked for longer than anyone could imagine... Just for it to come to this... No matter what I do... Nothing is ever good enough. Maybe this is my place in life. Maybe this is just my destiny: Failure. - Gazing into the mind of an antagonist who's drive for success led him down the wrong rabbit hole. A man living in the shadows of a broken world. Though maybe the world wasn't broken. Maybe it was just him all along. Maybe the broken world broke him too, and if everything's broken, it's perfectly fine, right? Mostly following the plot of Spirit Tracks, through Byrne's eyes, and his desperate attempt to gain power for a reason misinterpreted, though probably understandable. I've put my own original turns on this every now and then, as one would probably expect, but it's not romance, none of that hopeless crap. But rather, a thin line of grief and denial. Exchanging one life for another. Of course however, in the end... Is it really Byrne's mind? Or another? It's debatable, depending on how technical you'd want to get... It follows memories, feelings-even conflicting ones. I don't write to impress people, so don't get your hopes up. I didn't start proof reading until after Chapter Four, so prepare yourself. The story, being carried in first person, I tried to put emphasis on one's head. I don't think there's too much drama, I wanted things to at least make some kind of sense... But, alas, everything is just a perspective, for each of us. I don't think I'm right, but I don't think I'm wrong. We don't really know what happened, so I suppose that's the beauty of freedom. We can theorize whatever we want. - If you enjoy my story, don't be afraid to drop a vote. Touch that star, it's free and doesn't cost you anything. Can the three puffballs find each other and defeat this thing? How will Kirby, Meta Knight and Galacta Knight ever get back to their world? Pokemon Sun and Moon. This is in the Gameverse, but 'Kirby's Adventure' and 'Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland' are the Kirby anime's First War of Nightmare. Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland has been changed to the Second War of Nightmare (Canon in my fan-fiction), and this is set just after the defeat of Nightmare and the end of the Second War. Might make a fanfic about the second war later :P. If you don't like Galacta Knight being a female, then don't read it, or pretend that she's a gay boy or something. This fan-fiction contains shipping that happens almost all throughout the fic, but warnings are put in where the ships get more noticable. I made the plot up. None of this is canon to any series. So the spiral light at the center of the universe was shattered into 9 shards and the universe has been in chaos ever since. Because the spiral light shattered, the Crystal Core was formed, and the Galra have been invading peaceful planets to them more power for the empire, and all that stuff. So Crystal Bearers are sent out on missions, freeing captured planets, freeing prisoners, recruiting new Crystal Cadets, stopping space piracy and other junk like that. I don't want to spoil anything else, so you have to read the book to find out what happens!

(all of the stuff I just listed happened in the last chapter of What happened to Dora's little nerd? so it will not happen in this story it will only be referenced a ton.) Danny, Sam, Tucker, Jazz, Sydney, Black Widow, Desiree, Technus, Clockwork(who's knowing everything power is starting to work again but not completely), Spectra, Bertrand, Heartbreaker, Dani, Youngblood, Skele, Shadow, Cujo, and later Dora, Frostbite, Maddie, Valerie and even Johnny try to find Ember but have a hard time with it especially when they run into Gravekeeper and Vivian who want to destroy all of them and Viv controls Shadow with her powers. Will they be able to defeat Grave and Viv and break the control on Shadow and find Ember without any of the ghosts losing their powers? Plus they also need to get Kitty to stop being mad at Ember. And Kitty breaks up with Johnny. And Johnny gets amnesia after getting blasted by Jack Fenton then hitting the ground super hard. Can Dora, Frostbite, Maddie, Val, Skele, Des, and Kitty get his memory back? (Kitty, Ember, Johnny, and Danny centric) (Like with What happened to Dora's little nerd the P.O.V. will change every so often.)
