Our Lumpy Relationship

Trying to write from the point of view of an elderly, worn-out mattress. Many of these items bear a tag declaring that it's illegal for it to be removed. This is supposed to be a sign that the mattress contains pure stuffing materials, not corn-husks, horsehair, or some other unwholesome filling. Some mattress manufacturers refuse to honor the warranty on their product if the label has been removed.
