Grace "Feckter" Feckterhight is a nocturnal city girl with a lot on her plate. She works for an undercover organization in a city full of secrets. Her tasks have recently led her to another enemy organization, one that produces weapons in abandoned factories at the edges of the city. It's her mission to take down all of their operations before the two organizations go to war.

No one knows how much time is left. Their weapons are overpowered, and a lot hangs in the balance. Risky moves, betrayals, and spies are making everyone nervous. Both agencies are getting jumpier by the day. Everyone is anxious for what the end of the war will bring.

But what if the good guys were more than human? What if there was something deep inside of them, something that had been lost in the generations? What is there to unearth?
