For four years Paloma has been locked up in a tower, waiting for her Prince Charming to come and rescue her but after waiting for so long, she decides to instead rescue herself. As she is about to leave the castle in which she is trapped in, she bumps into Prince Lucas, who offers her a strange but useful proposition. Now, Paloma has been cast back into the complicated world of royals where she has to learn once again become the perfect princess. But, as the days drag on, Paloma finds it incredibly hard to be "normal" again especially since she's fallen in love with the court mage instead of her supposed Prince Charming.

Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. Little did she know his visit will be soon and blood curdling.
