In the dark, there are things that happen.

Unexplainable things.

At night, people go missing in the streets. They disappear leaving nothing behind... not even blood. Since we can't do anything about it, all we do is wait until the next person goes missing. The entire world is shutting down.

Complete Anarchy.

Everyone must stay indoors as soon as the sun goes down, but of course, not everyone listens. That's why so many people go missing. They think the threat isn't real.

The government keeps telling everyone that they're fixing the problem, but they won't tell us what the problem really is.

Leaving us completely in the dark as to what is happening.

In a world where people are bound by a single name, power means everything. Ruining another one's life does not matter as long as you can reach the top. It was the normalized belief to everyone that is why strong bonds are rarely formed. The police? Government? Society? Nothing is ever going to be on your side without power. No matter how hard you try to fight for what is true, they would only look at you like you have lost your mind and laugh at your pathetic efforts of trying to start a change that was bound to never happen. It is either you fight to be at the top or face the gruesome reality of people that do not hold power, being brutally whisked away from their peaceful life because of a false narrative that circled around them. Is upholding that so-called truth and justice a lot like your life depended on it even worth it? ___________________________ A Mystery/Thriller BL
