Book 1 Min Yoongi only had his mother. His father didn't accept Yoongi being gay. He even forced him to be with a girl but that didn't change anything, it only caused him to care for a baby. He ended up giving Yoongi a bad beating the day he came out so his mom left him. His mom supported Yoongi and still loved him like if nothing had changed. They had a great bond with eachother and Yoongi was gratefull. Of course they had moved away from his dad meaning they had to change schools. Jung Hoseok only had his father. His mother died when he was 10 years old. His father blamed him for her death and abused him. His mother knew Hobi was gay and had never told his father since he knew his father was homophobic. Of course he had found out by seeing Hoseok kissing a guy making things only worst for him.
