Witches, being granted magical powers by God to keep the Earth alive, have been hunted to the brink of existence by humans who believe them to be evil, causing the lands to become dead and inhospitable.

Ailana, a newly awakened Witch, escapes from her Witchhunting village and seeks asylum in one of the few hospitable lands left, Seers Spire. Once there, she is taken in by the powerful Witch only known as The Conductor as an apprentice.

The Conductor is soon called away by duty as a fellow Witch seeks assistance as her dwelling no longer feels safe. Fearing for her teacher's life, Ailana sets off on a quest to catch up to The Conductor and hopefully, save her life.
