After ShadowClan suddenly moves away from the lake to live in a twolegplace, and after one cat attempts to murder WindClan's leader, Weaselpaw finds his life turned upside down. He is sent on a mission to bring back ShadowClan, all the while trying to resist the calls of a certain Dark Forest warrior. There seems to be no escape as he descends further into the darkness, and with every passing moment, Weaselpaw's life slowly falls apart.
