~Story Synopsis~ (Warning it's long AF)
"I don't know if I could still live up to my older brother" those were the words that kept on going on repeat. It's not like the younger Nijimura hated his older sibling, I mean he practically loved him dearly. But, basketball is something he could not live up to. So he tried other activities, and...... nothing, nothing that suited his interest but, there were exceptions like Shuzou doing martial arts and the younger also doing the same thing, he enjoyed it. However, one day when he went to his local swimming pool the pool was empty 'at least there's no people here' he thought. So he dipped his legs in the water and for the first time he felt good about himself. Over the years, the younger Nijimura did a lot of swimming, surfing, and martial arts. He would eventually be the captain of the Iwatobi Junior high swimming team. HE would be the one to bind everyone together, HE would be a role model that everyone would look up to. He would even be Ikuya's brother figure in Junior High. But, in high school everything's changed, Nijimura would be more distant and uninterested in swimming in particular. There were rumors saying that 'Oh he hates swimming' but, those were just rumors and not actually real. So when he hears that the swimming team would be back, Nagisa would be determined to try to convince him to join, the upperclassmen would quickly refuse his many, MANY offers to him. But, could the newly formed swimming team be able to bring this prodigy into the mix or will they fail in doing so.
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
