Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. So, sorry in advance. ~Just Perfect EDIT: As of 03/29/14 (arranged in this order: dd/mm/yy), this story has deviated from its original "pure romance," into something worth delving deeper into. Quite interesting. And because of this... "something worth delving deeper into," I have decided to continue the story with a PART TWO! Though that will have to wait until after Exile. Or maybe when I get tired of Exile and hope to continue this again. But either way, there WILL be a part two for those who want more zoophilia. Kade is very mischievous and we get along well. But...my power isn't anything special. I can just see little creatures, what good is that?! And now my parents have decided to sent me to a school to strengthen my 'power'. I've been homeschooled my entire life and have been saved from the embarrassment of sharing my power. I already know my power sucks! I don't need a school to tell me that. But now I'm here. Dear Diary, Me and April are finally starting to hangout again! You see what happened was: I was hanging out on the rooftop of my apartment building when these men came and tried to kidnap me. I fought as hard as I could but I accidentally fell off the rooftop. However this green dude with a purple bandana saved me! He gently brought me to the ground and checked to see if I had any injuries. While he was checking, I saw April on the rooftop with some other green dudes and she was fighting off those weird men! Eventually they disappeared and the whole group came down to me and the purple guy. She apologized to me for not keeping in contact for the entire year. She said she's been training to be a fighter with the help of her friends, which are apparently mutant turtles. They all introduced each other, red is raph, blue is leo, orange is Mikey, and purple is 𝒟ℴ𝓃𝓃𝒶𝓉ℯ𝓁𝓁ℴ I don't know what it is about that guy but.... I think I might have a crush on him, or at the very least it's limerance. I mean the guy saved me so it's probably just infatuation because of that. Anyway, April said that tomorrow she's gonna take me to the turtles lair so we'll see how that goes! Maybe I can even become friends with them! Especially 𝒟ℴ𝓃𝓃𝒶𝓉ℯ𝓁𝓁ℴ..... TW: This is gonna be a pretty angsty story and it will have sad themes such as parental loss, grief, unrequited love (which gets requited...eventually), and obsession (but not too much) I'll post warnings at the beginnings of chapters for some of these themes but I hope you enjoy! The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. I ran, and I ran, and I ran, trying to get as far away from the mansion as possible. I was too weak to shift, but my determination kept me running. The house disappeared from my line of vision, and I was soon surrounded by greens. I didn't know where I was going, and at this moment, I didn't care. I was officially a fugitive.
