"It's like I'm lying next to you
Tryin' to figure it out what you're all about
And I don't wanna lose -
The smell of your perfume,
From my room"

-----

Every Saturday night, they'd sit on their roofs. Under the stars and streetlights. Silence surrounding them. No romantic gestures, no words often spoken. Just laying in each other's arms under the sunset.

*Story Excerpt* My back is pressed against the wall, his face just mere inches from mine while his hands are planted on the wall above my head. A grin so devilish that it would make Satan scared, appears on his face. "I think you're lying to me" he mutters "What makes you think that?" I choke out He cocks his head to the side a little "Your pupils are dilated, you can't look me in the eyes, and I can see the slightest dew on your forehead from the sweat you've started to accumulate" he says, his eyes studying my reactions I continue to avoid eye contact, struggling to find a response and before I can muster a word out, he frazzles me again. His hand travels down the wall to my cheek and he tucks my hair behind my ear before lifting my chin with his finger, so I have no choice but to lock eyes with him. My breathing is quickened, my heart rate increases. "I think you'd like to see just how loud I can make you scream in a matter of minutes" he says with a low and hungry tone I'm in deep trouble. ______________________________________ 23-year-old Evelyn has never been one to interact with her neighbors but that changes when 24-year-old Jay moves just across the hall from her. Jay is cocky and inconsiderate; Evelyn finds him infuriating; however, she also finds him unbearably attractive. Evelyn is determined to keep her relationship with Jay strictly to a neighbor/acquaintance level, but Jay is determined to get more from her.

Sequel to Jacob's neighbor We jumped ahead 2 years to see. Two people finally get back together. The friend group changed. Jacob no where to be found. An old friend moved to town. Blake making a move? On who though? Whats up with Mark lately? Then Someone getting in an accident? who? did they survive? Who looses their love? -- Some say the witching hour is 3am, others say 1pm, but how can it be witching hour if I'm not awake. I woke up at 5:30 am. My eyes held the status: bloodshot. I sat up, and thought to myself. I then got out of bed carefully, so Mario would wake. I put some slippers on and walked out. I made my way down the hall and turned into the nook where the entrance of the elevators were. I sat on the ledge of the window and leaned my head against the window. Admiring the view. "Can I join you?" A voice said. I responded instantly, by shooting my head off the window and in the direction of the source. "Sure" I said with a welcomed smirk. He sat next to me on the ledge. "What are you doing up?" He asked "I am pretty sure you know the answer to that from when we dated." I said with a small laugh "Nightmares?" He said smoothly. Like silk. I inhaled deeply at the thought of my last horror. "So, why are you up?" I said turning the subject around. "Couldn't sleep, so I came out here to watch the sunrise" He sounded so innocent. "I'm so sorry for everything I put you through." I said looking down "It's not your fault. You mentally got an ultimatum. You can't blame anyone for that." "I just don't know what to say. You've always been the sweet one to me. You treated me right. Thank you for being there for me." I said extending my arms. All he did was smile and accept the embrace. "I'll leave you alone to watch the sunrise." I said leaving him to the brightening sky. __ POV. I still do and always will...
