I will take it down as soon as I am notified. Thank you! All of the short stories are not very good, I will admit. They also contain a lot of death, so if that bothers you please do not read this, I don't want anyone being emotionally harmed from reading these stories. I hope you all have a fantastic day (or night) and that you enjoy reading my short stories. Any feedback, negative or positive, is appreciated. I want to get better, and if that means I need to take a couple hits to my ego, then so be it.

I shrunk back into my seat as his head snapped towards me. He looked like his head was going to fall off. His eyes were blazing with rage. His face was set into an icy glare. His fists that rested on the table were clenched so hard his knuckles were white. As he stood from his chair so did I. I felt like the prey to the biggest predator in the jungle. I took two steps back for every stride he took towards me. I gulped again before shaking me head. "She's just joking Ace." my voice quivered as I took another two steps back. "How do I know that?" he sneered down at me, his body towering over me. As I went to take another step backwards, my back made contact with the wall behind me. Well great. Now I'm cornered. Life was just a huge nightmare for Ife and things just seemed to go from bad to worse for her. She never caught a break. She didn't think she did anything to deserve such a life but then again, even if she didn't know what it was, God knows all. The quickest escape would have been suicide. But suicide wasn't the bravest. It was cowardly. But she didn't even have the courage to try. When she gets a chance to meet the Angel of Death as she'd been wishing, it doesn't quite go as planned. The door slid open without a sound and I found myself punched in the gut. All along the walls were pictures of friends and family. How could I take this away from someone? Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine.
