This is a short story I wrote for a writing contest a while ago. It didn't win but I thought I would share it. Maybe I will continue it, I really can't say but feel free to comment.
It's daylight savings and something weird happens to our female lead Daisy. I can't go into detail because again it's a short story 😅😅😅😅 you will have to read to find out.... I will say there is some animal/human hybrids. Just read 😝

The Death Of Us
Two girls fighting for survival, in a destroyed world. A world where people eat each other and are beyond recognition. Can they trust each other? will they be able to make it to the end together? The Lighthouse Keeper
"Well, why DO you want me here?" He sits back in his seat, and takes a breath as if trying to figure out how to tell me something. He finally says, "I'm lonely here in the lighthouse. And even though there's and unlock button, it only lets others in- it doesn't let me out. So I couldn't be with anyone going out, but if I let someone in..." he pauses, and smiles. "And then I saw you on the screen the first day I searched. I don't think it was a coincidence that I searched at random and found you. I think it was fate, Claire." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Claire follows a dangerous dare to break into the 'abandoned lighthouse', she finds that it's not so abandoned, after all. It turns out that the owner, teenage Francis, is trapped in the lighthouse by a strong magic, and though he has everything he could ever want, he's lonely. Claire, now trapped inside, as well, starts to develop feelings for the lighthouse keeper... PLEASE NOTE: I wrote this story when I was twelve, and it hasn't been edited. The Long Walk Home
IT lets go of me, my head hits the ground again, no sound echos this time. IT's mouth movies, but my ears ring, so I can't hear IT. Everything is blurry and movies too much. I can't focus on anything. IT looks at me, IT's eyes are all gray. IT smirks and stands all of the way up, towering over me. I pull myself up and wobble away from IT on unsteady feet. I look back to see IT laughing, watching me walk away. I can't hear her terrible laughter, and I don't want... to... I fall over, feeling woozy. My head spins and I sway as I try to stand. I look back again, to see that the fog has covered my path, and I can only see a couple of inches away from my face. I blow out air and fall over. * * * * 13 year old Colten, takes a shortcut through the field next to his house on his way home. But why can't he reach his destination?Complete
Thirteen Points of Light
After a night on the town, Sarah wakes up to a miserable hangover. But it's nothing compared to what comes next. After attempting to light a cigarette, she feels that something isn't quite right. Soon she'll discover that everything is very wrong. My entry in the Open Novella Contest III, Feb 2020. April 28. Just got the news that Thirteen Points has made it through the second round. Now I have to finish by May 5th. I'm not as far along as I had hoped at this point, but I'm sure I can make it. May 4th. 12:10 am. Finished. Submitted. Good night. May 20th. Well, 13 Points made the Long List. I have no idea how many original entries there were but about 940 made the first cut. There's 150 on the Long List. Not bad for my first time out. Now we'll wait and see how we fare on the Short List. May 30th. Well, Sarah and company didn't make the Short List. I can't say I'm disappointed though. Nightmare
"Dreams. Everyone human has them. Some believe in them. Some think it's a pigment of their own imaginations. It's soothing to see yourself in a beautiful world. Futuristic World (Furry X Human)
It was a normal day for Y/N.. until you agree to help run a test that scientist are trying to do. They tell you that it's a new teleporting device. If it is successful, then this will change how people travel forever. You decide to be the first person to use it... However, it went horribly wrong. You pass out and wake up in a large neon city filled with strange humanoid creatures that appear to be animals... As if that wasn't bad enough.. Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014)
This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S.
