The first time a baby laughs, whether it's giggled or garbled, a new fairy is born, just like when someone dies, a new star appears in the sky. The new fairy then takes to Neverland, not remembering the journey, for she - or he - is not quite a fairy yet, oh no. The new fairy takes shape as a seed - not unlike ones you find on wishing plants - traveling on a wind straight up to Neverland, through the second star to the right.

One of the first dying kids Peter every brought to Neverland was a girl. The daughter of a pirate. She missed the sea so much after several years that she took the oldest kids on the island and built a ship with her new crew and set sail to watch over the island from the water. They're still there. They guard the island from invaders who would seek out the magic to possesses it for the wrong reasons. The captain of this ship has a very misleading name. Given to her by Peter Pan himself. No, she doesn't have a hook for a hand. But her name of Hook is just as fitting for her as it is for her father.
