In a last-ditch effort to find some sort of clue to the disappearance of his sister, Carter and his friend Jackson head into the much talked about Mierwood Asylum after hearing his sister was last seen walking into the forest that surrounds the partly burned institute. After a while of searching the building, they soon realize they made a grave mistake walking in there.
