This story is purely a work of fiction. Recommended for readers 18+ due to mature language and themes. Read at your own risk, you were warned. Damaged. That's one way to describe Charlotte Williams. Traumatized Head-case is another. While emotionally and physically trying to recover from her past,Charlotte also known as Charlie finds herself trying to understand things that the human brain wasn't built to comprehend. In Charlie's mind the biggest threat is human connection. She refuses to let anyone get close enough to know her but eventually she won't have a choice. With a threat on her life, Charlie must let old wounds bleeds and learn to trust someone who she's not sure is capable of redemption. *Chapter 1 Excerpt* "See something you like?" Arching his eyebrow, his lips turned upward into a mischievous smirk. Snapping me out of my stupor, I responded "What? No! Definitely not!" A soft chuckle left him "Definitely not ? Damn I didn't think I looked that bad." He placed a hand over his heart feigning hurt. " I..um.. I didn't..I didn't mean it that way, sorry." my voice wavered slightly. "Relax, I'm just fucking with you" *I'm sorry my description sucks and there is a lot of errors but I hope you'll give it a chance. This is my first story*

Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine. Her skin is cold, but she flips her palm for more contact. I lace our fingers. It's enough to make her look at me. As those kaleidoscopic eyes meet mine, I hold my breath. Then she sets her lips just under my jaw. It rips the air from my lungs. It's the softest thing I've ever felt. "What was that for," I breathe. She pulls back, lashes damp, and whispers, "You're the kind of person that should be kissed." 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 BOOK TWO C O N T A I N S : ❤︎ mature content ❤︎ romance & friendship ❤︎ yearning Copyright © 2021-present Laurel Montaze (immoralLaurel).
