People are programmed in such a way that even knowing what is most beneficial for their well-being; they do not always do what is best for them. While lack of foresight can be a reason, most are generally guilty of falling prey to their short-term impulses, which call to them like the sweet whispers of a siren, leading them to figurative doom.
I do not claim to be free of poor impulse control. Nor am I an expert in "living life to its fullest". However, to be human is to err. The worst mistake would be to not try at all. When that happens, things are sealed to never change.
This book is about change. If you feel your life is lacking in any way, and decide to read this, I earnestly hope I will be able to make a difference.
