Twins Tabitha and Abbot have never been normal. Their parents were kidnapped when they were four, and not long after, they discovered that they had dormant magic inside them that was recently activated. Tabitha can control the wind, and Abbot controls energy. Frightened of how society would react, the twins are forced to keep their abilities secret. 

When someone finds them training, they flee the small town they call home and enter the real world where nothing is as it seems.

With the police looking for them, the twins uncover secrets long-buried, and truths they might not be ready to face. As time runs out, will they be able to solve the riddle of their past before it catches up with them?
