Año 2127 -- Tras el anuncio que hizo el gobierno sobre la posible 3 ª guerra mundial el mundo se vio vuelto en un caos. Durante la guerra se perdieron muchas vidas con lo que el resultado final fue un mundo que no volvería a la normalidad hasta muchos años después.
50 años después del término de la guerra un virus acabará con la mayoría de la humanidad dado que este convertirá a la gente en zombies que trataran de acabar con la gente no infectada. Al virus se le conoce como AMN-7 o como la gente lo denomina 99-Z dado a que solo el 99% de la gente infectada se convierte en zombie

Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. In the words of a great philosopher; there is no limit to the gruesome and grotesque things we are willing to do in the name of survival. While reading this; Remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember that loved characters will die. Remember that the world will gradually get worse as the parts go on. Take a moment to ask yourselves these questions: What would you do in the name of survival? Would you steal to survive? Would you kill to survive? Would you lose your mind to survive? If you lost your mind, do you think you'd kill more, steal, injure, backstab, rape or any other atrocity you can think of? If you can think of it, then maybe you would. The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Friends aren't a thing anymore. All anyone truly has is themselves, and the burdens they carry.

The ice deep in the north has melted to reveal a new world hidden under the ice. It holds vegetation and animals that seem unworldly when compared to ours, but hidden in the deepest part of this world is another cave with the oldest surviving strains of an ancient bacteria capable of taking host of dead creatures and reanimating them into beasts worse than before. This strain had grown weak over the ages and was nearly extinct, but the human immune system, never being exposed to this, caused the strain to thrive inside its new unexpecting host and spreads out to the world. It starts small, just a speck on the hands of a few people, but soon, it spreads to door handles, pens, books, chairs, things like that. It continues spreading and now has infected its first corpse, the remains of an ant. This new creature comes and spreads to that ant's nest and then to the animals that eat them. Before less than a month passed, the virus had spread to a graveyard in the hidden grottos of the Yukon. This virus, now able to think from the new minds of fresh bodies, can strategize. In only another week, the epidemic had spread to the northern edge of the United States. Spreading further and further in, people began to notice this strange happening. From people disappearing to entire towns popping out of existence, the bacteria continued to spread. To keep order, the governments had those who disappeared erased from existence, but it wasn't enough. The takeover of those long gone happened in less than three weeks and society collapsed. Spreading overseas, it began its removal of life in Europe, but that's a story for another day. We now come to those few remaining settlements in the collapsed U.S, now called The Crumbled Land. What does this new land hold hidden deep in the remnants of its former glory?
