In the mirror universe of Star Trek the events of the Second World War have unfolded quite differently to those in our universe i.e. the prime universe. Seven winters had gone by since the fall of the British empire and the bastion of freedom and peace now lied in the hands of the Austrian-Germanic Federation and the Indo-Pacific Sovereign States, known together as the Alliance. As the winds of time flew by swiftly, the Anglo-American Empire grew bigger and closer to the remainder of the Alliances' territories. On the western front the Empire has been relentless since the attack on Normandy and has successfully capitulated Paris.
