This is a story that has been told since the first cavemen in the first cave. It's one of love and of tragedy but that's no surprise as they usually go hand-in-hand. This is the tale of a man with the power to break the earth in two, but whose hands shake under all that's expected of him. This is the tale of a woman under who has had everything she has ever wanted handed to her on a silver platter, but still yearns for more.

Jasper Aarden is one of the most powerful magic users to have ever been born. But instead of using his powers he hides himself inside his library away from the expectation he fears he'll never live up to.
Ilana Vale has lived a life of safety and security where the most exciting thing that has ever happened to her was having tea after teatime. So she decided to leave her home behind in search of adventure.

After meeting at the Summer Solstice ball the course of both of their lives is changed forever, hopefully for the better.

"You have completely and utterly bewitched me, Lucia. Every time I look at you, I feel practically hypnotized." ☆✰⭐︎ Lucia Winters was raised in a pure-blood family with a storied history, expectations weigh heavily on her. Her father couldn't say no when she was invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a fifth year. She was deeply nervous about stepping into Hogwarts, not that she would ever admit it out loud. Lucia didn't grow up dreaming of the Great Hall, or getting sorted in front of hundreds of staring eyes. But with carefully composed nervousness there was excitement, she was burning with it. Lucia doesn't know yet what is to come, the power she can yield from her fingertips, a person who could guide her magic, or possibly use it. Sebastian Sallow was in his fifth year of Hogwarts. It started with exhaustion. The kind that settles into your bones - the kind that no amount of sleep or sugar quills can fix. Sebastian hid it with his grin, the sarcasm, the easy confidence. But by now, it was habit, not joy. Anne hadn't improved. Solomon barely spoke to him. So he did what he always did, he hid the bleeding parts. But underneath all of it was a hum, a low, constant desperation. He started digging into older magic, darker spells, things the books said he shouldn't touch. He touched them anyway. Sebastian was not going to sit back and watch his sister wither when he knew there were answers? No. There had to be answers, something, or someone, will show him. ☆✰⭐︎ A collision of two desperate souls, one already falling, the other just stepping into the dark. He needs her - not just because of her magic. She needs him - not just because he sees her clearly. Two people keeping secrets, both too clever for their own good, both drawn to eachother like gravity. Somewhere in their desperation, ambition, and obsession with saving Anne, it started to look like more than a friendship.

In ancient times, there existed a magical stone imbued with immense power. Whoever touched it gained extraordinary abilities. Many coveted the stone, driven by their desire for magic. To safeguard it, the stone chose a brave Aeonaeian of pure heart as its protector. Her name was Eeria. She hid the stone in a secure and remote location, far from all Aeonaeians. The realm of Aeonae was divided into four kingdoms: Geonn, Aerie, Freix, and Irryad. Peace reigned across Aeonae-until one fateful night. Consumed by greed and ambition, King Ghallon of Freix stole the magic stone. His lust for power drove him to seek control over all Aeonae and its magic. Eeria, determined to recover the stone, confronted Ghallon. This clash ignited a fierce battle that brought devastation and death, endangering all life in Aeonae. Despite her resolve, Eeria could not defeat the king, as the stone had made him incredibly powerful. Realizing this, she devised a new plan: to destroy the stone. While brave knights engaged Ghallon to distract him, Eeria shattered the stone, scattering its magic to the far reaches of Aeonae. Enraged by her act, Ghallon ended the battle by striking Eeria down. As she lay dying, she spoke a prophecy: "This conflict is not over. Though you claim victory today, it will not endure. On the night of the first lunar eclipse, four Aeonaeians will be born, each possessing great and powerful magic. They shall end your tyranny and restore peace and order to this world. They will become the Guardians of Aeonae."
