Die 16-jährige Camie wacht ohne jegliche Erinnerung an ihr Aussehen, ihren Namen oder Erinnerungen an ihr früheres Leben in einem geheimen Krankenhaus der Regierung in New York auf. Als man ihr erzählt, dass sie von nun an eine Auftragskillerin der Regierung sein soll, ist sie erstmal bestürzt, merkt jedoch schnell, dass es besser wäre zu tunen was man ihr sagt. Ihr erster Auftrag lautet , den 17-jährigen Jensen, den Sohn eines wichtigen Politikers zu töten und vor allem keine Fragen zu stellen. Der Auftrag scheint ihr zunächst leicht, doch dann entwickelt sie mehr und mehr Zuneigung für Jensen, zu dem, dass sie immer mehr an der Regierung zu zweifeln beginnt. Kann so eine Geschichte gut ausgehen?
