It's the year 1799 and the Gold Coast is thriving with life for it's European settlers but for it's Ashanti people all there is , is hardship and misery. Their kings and supposed noble chiefs have turned their backs on them. Turned a blind eye to the pain of their once united people for extra money.
On the turning of the century Yaa's family is about to be ripped apart by the ongoing slave trade. The hunger for justice she feels for her family is the same for many families across the nation.
Tormented by the iron grip of the British Army, she chooses to stand for what she so totally believes in.
Can one girl halt the power of a mighty Empire?

My writings contain dark topics or are more of darker fantasies based books. If you do not like dark themes or topics, murder, blood, gore, human pain and suffering, along with other similar topics. This is not the place for you. But I do not write to promote torture. I believe you have to suffer to become stronger. Additionally, I like spooky tales.. Do you like tea?
