This is a short story I wrote for an anthology at a Teen Writer's Workshop I did over the summer. I wanted to see if I could escape my typical dark, gory writing style and write something touching and intimate. In short, it's about a woman named Alice, her son Dillon, and the terrible event of the past that shapes the course of their lives. I do not own the artwork used for the book cover; credit goes to Pawlack, an artist on deviantart.

Losing her brother was Alice's worst nightmare. He was her light, her safety blanket; her home. Losing him would not only mean losing their road trips from Seattle down to California but she would lose part of her identity. How will she move on and how will a mysterious customer at her brother's bar play a part? This is an interactive book. There will be a choice of three endings. You decide.
