They're kissing. Well, sort of. They appear to be frozen to the point that they can't even part away from each other. Léandre, thankfully, considers the logistics of human respiration and takes a few steps back. Other than that, neither Swara nor Léandre seems to be making another move anytime soon. And neither does the cafeteria. "Well, now that it's happening," says Casimir, from his seat at the table right next to the immobilized disaster duo. "If I may," he rises up from his place only to move to the other side of the table where Yaemiya is seated. She is as stock-still because of her best friend suddenly smooching her nemesis as one should be, but that doesn't stop her eyes from following Casimir as he comes to stand in front of her. Then proceeds to plop down on one knee and whip out a wristband with rose stickers on it. "Yae, may I have the honor of dining with you on any of your less industrious but equally invaluable days?" The bystanders, including Swara and Léandre, have every right to faint. ............................................................. When Yaemia Roy and Swara Mallik get the approval for their preferred college in Boston, they should've known that with the phenomenal luck that they have, things go in every other way but the one that's planned.

Jordan never noticed Juliet. Juliet had given up to get his attention. And if they end up hiding together in the same closet, he can't stop talking about himself. So how to shut him up? Kissing him... *** Jordan Decker is an arrogant senior in King Valley, a footballer and an A-grade student. All teachers liked him, girls adored him and guys wanted to be friends with. A total cliche. And like always, in every girly romantic book, he has the gorgeous girlfriend, luxury car and EGO as big as New York City. Juliet Maine has a lot on her plate, working as a waitress in Lory's Diner she is asked to open a new business in her hometown. After graduation she will fly to New York to study law at NYU, leaving her family behind and start her independent life. When she is pulled into her highschool's crush's love-life problems, she finally understands why falling in love with him was a bad idea. But she doesn't know that Jordan had noticed her from day one. *** PREVIEW into chapter 8 I climb up the stairs and find myself in a long corridor what spread to two directions. Matt's bedroom was on the east wing so I turn to my left and walk toward the last door in the end. But before I can reach half way, a door on my right opens and out runs Jordan. We bump into each other. "What the..???" I steady myself, grabbing his jacket and prevent myself from falling backward. "Run!" He says. "What?" I release him. "Run," he grabs my hand and starts pulling me with him. "Why would I...?" I turn around while I'm dragged toward the stairs and see Tiffany, all angry and face cherry red come throw the door Jordan had exited a minute ago. "You dirty bitch!" She yells at the top of her lungs as she sees me, Jordan's hand still gripes me. Amazing cover by @uniqueread.
