Colleen wakes up brainwashed in a mysterious and very suspicious house. She meets a guy in the same room as her, too. They swear to make it out alive together, so they work together to solve the murders and fully trust one another, and barely anyone else.

They meet 13 other people in this house, and among this group lies 3 murderers. If they find out all the murderers and the mastermind themself, the remaining people get to leave the house for good. If they guess the mastermind wrong in the end, the remaining people will all be eliminated.

After the end of the infamous danganronpa show, everything went back to normal. Soon enough, an international school was created, Tamatsukuri Academy The school took inspiration from danganronpa's "Ultimate" school system and decided to do the same. Although, it was much healthier and better since both the talented and talentless can be in the same class and look beyond their differences. Things didn't go as planned though. The students got trapped inside a killing game. They had been given one basic rule as its cornerstone: to escape, one would have to get away with killing a fellow student. As the game progresses, our protagonist, Dahlia Sasaki soon finds herself learning a harsh lesson. The Good Team must try to figure out who the murderer is and eliminate the Evil Team, while the Evil Team must help the murderer and eliminate the Good Team. "Who will die? Who is the voice? This (eventually) 5-part script is about a murder mystery game where when the lights go out, the murderer strikes. For these 11 teenagers, Flicker is more than a simple game. They ARE the game. But for them, the game is different. They don't know their roles right away, they don't know what they are doing there, the Narrator is ridiculous, and more. Which side will win? Good or Evil?
