This is a au in which the android revolution failed and Cyberlife takes over the governement.

In 2040, most of the police forces are gradually and inexorably replaced by androids like Nines, but Gavin managed somehow to keep his job, mostly thanks to Fowler's support. Connor remained a machine that follows Cyberlife's orders and stayed in the police.

In a world where all deviants are automatically destroyed, Nines absolutely can't afford to become one. But how can he stay neutral when he was given the mission to protect Gavin Reed at all costs...even if it means rebelling against his own masters, Cyberlife itself.
