She saw a man stumble down the side walk and saw her chance.
“Excuse me!” She called.
He blatantly ignored her.
“Excuse me!” She repeated.
“Nicole, listen!” She said into the phone as she grabbed the man’s arm, forcing him to stop.
“What’s today?”
“Monday…” He said, irritated.
She closed her eyes and shook her head, “Of what year?!”
“2008?”
He pushed his way passed her and rolled his eyes. Crazy people everywhere, he thought.
She pressed her hand to her head and squinted.
She was getting dizzy. The kind of dizzy you feel when you’re eighteen and just woke up in the year of 2008.
