Frank has a life at home that he doesn't think is worth too much. After too many run ins with his abusive mother, he finally gets a change of pace that he's longed for. Healing from abuse however, is never linear. A few ups, a few downs, a shitton of setbacks that no teenager should ever go through, and a guy just trying to get by, keeping Frank by his side as they go through their last year of high school. Maybe things will turn out fine, but the biggest thing keeping Frank back is trying to survive, and he's not sure he can after everything...

I like to think I have improved on writing since this time and I really don't like this. So many regrets... [Complete] Frank Iero has been suffering from the 'incident' ever since it happened. What made it worse was that it was completely his fault. His mother notices his behaviour afterwards and sends him to a therpy group. He knows he can't be 'cured' because there was nothing to 'cure'. This was him, left with the faded memories of the 'incident'. Gerard Way had to move schools because of bullying. Of course, it wasn't exactly bullying if quart labled it as abuse. Frank is a newcomer in a quiet, sleepy town, trying to escape his past. It's dull and boring until the arrival of a newcomer that could be the making or breaking of him. A story of romance, tragedy, healing, and finally happiness, because everyone needs a happy ending sometimes. - Gerard doesn't talk to anyone, he doesn't know anyone, he's completely absorbed in the little bubble that is his independent little life. He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble. It must be good for something though, because not many people bother to figure out Gerard.
